Empowering Communities

Strengthening Rural Sri Lanka

Uva Shakthi Foundation (USF) is a volunteer-driven non-profit organization working since 1996 to uplift rural and plantation communities in Sri Lanka, with a strong focus on the Uva region.

Who We Are

Uva Shakthi Foundation (USF) is a duly registered voluntary social service and non-governmental organization in Sri Lanka. For over 25 years, we have worked with rural villages, plantation (Malaiyaham) communities, youth, and women to promote equity, good governance, social justice, and sustainable development.

We bring together networks of citizens, civil society organizations (CSOs), religious leaders, youth groups, and community councils to strengthen democracy and inclusive development.
